ROADS TO DANGEROUS SILENCE...

RECENTLY our newly formed government filed a petition in the supreme court against the free speech of ours' in the form of reasonable restriction on the lines of draconian IT act.To whom who don't know what does it actually mean lemme clarify it more with an example say if u killed a person in an accident on road the punishment will be only for 2 years but under this act if u wrote something like "calling a jerk a jerk" than u'll be punished for 3 years which can go up-to 5 years. the same people when in opposition said we are totally against this act but the proverb rightly said "Absolute power corrupts absolutely". now the same people are talking of the things like "responsible writing" and "reasonable restriction".But no one is seems interested to tell who will be the enlightened one to identify and differentiate between reasonable and  unreasonable writings .And who will create the benchmarks for these reasonable restriction.Govt. is saying like "we are nice people plz trust us we'll not harm ur freedom of speech like previous one plz let us curb ur rights to speak free and fair".But who is going to take the guarantee that this act will not be used as a weapon for political vendetta.For an instance let us assume that this "excuse" of reasonable restriction is ratified by our supreme court. AFTER that there will no go scope for opposing any move against our political masters as any type of advice,opinion or banter may sound derogatory to our leaders aka NETAs. All the voices of opposition may be either take down technically or forcefully. And still calling it abiding by the law.or the famous"Rule of LAW". everyone knows that there is a need for the ethics to be part of the internet browsing and content writing but taking them as a tool for gagging the real voice of opposition will not work.Who can forget the cases of Aseem trivedi and prof. Mahapatra in the reigns of previous government so Is the current government is going on the same path to curb free speech.? In the absence of any effective opposition is the government trying to suppress the voice of dissent from all spheres of society?.We can think if this government previously showed its inability to control the thousand numbers of sites that are serving porn to our little children and in some cases works as a factors to increase rape and sexual offences against children the same government is talking about responsibility of content writing and reasonable restriction .if its able to do so then why it acted so irresponsibly in the previous case and if don't than how it will going to control such a huge virtual world.
 We don't want a freedom that will create chaos everywhere but we at the  same want to get heard there can be several ways to ensure the so called reasonable and responsible writing. like the person should be informed by prior notice to give clarification on the issue and to get judged by an unbiased institution like judiciary in case on any conflict. the government have to think about our country first which is a democratic one and as  "All the flaws of democracy can be corrected by more democracy." Let us make our country more democratic where everyone has power to express his/her feelings and opinions and a place where all the people have the courage to tolerate criticism like praise...
